The CPIP free item is still not here yet, so please be patient. It should be here by the end of the day.
The Book Contest stories have been published so check them out in the Book Room.

Congrats to the Igloo Contest winners for winning 1st place in the contest (there are 20 other winners).
Check the newspaper for details, the other winners, and their igloos.
Update: For those of you who don’t know, CPIP test servers were servers just like CP’s except faster that we could test out for bugs. It is now closed so you can’t test on it.
Yep, That’s right! After waiting a really long time, all penguins who tested in the Club Penguin Improvement Project test servers will be getting their CPIP item added into their inventories THIS FRIDAY, the 30th.
CP wanted to deliver this with Penguin Mail and the log-in and playercard feature, but they are still under development so they won’t be released yet.
Even if you only logged in once in the Test Servers, you should still get a CPIP item.
Here is the answer to the puzzle in the newspaper. I labeled the rows, columns, and boxes for those who didn’t understand the directions. I also labeled the puffles that got blocked out by the big puffle. I suggest using it only when you’re stuck.
The Medieval Party’s been extended to the 25th. The Winners of the Book Contest will be announced on the 29th.
Club Penguin has announced another upcoming new feature: World Selector on the CPIP blog. Click here for to view.
And start saving up for the upcoming Igloo Contest. Click here for contest details. Here’s a sneak peek on what’s coming up in the upcoming Furniture catalog.

If you don’t know, the Medieval Igloo Contest starts today. CP has changed the prizes: Now TWENTY winners will be selected, besides 10. The Top Ten win 25,000 coins, and the rest win 15,000 coins. I believe their names and igloos will also be in the newspaper.
Here are some tips the judges gave: As Creative as possible, Medieval-Themed, Variety of old and new furniture, will not be based on how many coins you spent on it.
There are free tunics available at the Dock.
There is a new Tree House room at the Forest. Go to the stairs to climb up to it.
Rooms you have to see: The Pool (Treasure Room), The Mines (Dragon’s Lair), The Lodge (Princess’s Castle), The Attic (Princess’s Castle-Upstairs), The Mountain (The Evil, Dark Castle), Pizza Parlor (Knight’s Round Table), Night Club (Knight’s Club), Ice Rink (Dueling Arena), The Snow Forts (Battle Area), The Boiler Room (The Smithy), Pet Shop (Puffle Stables), Dance Lounge (Ye Old Arcades), The Lighthouse (Wizard’s Place), Lighthouse Beacon (Wizard’s Roof), and The Coffee Shop (Ye Old Coffee).
There area few more but those are the ones I like the most. The Dark Castle can also be seen from many different locations.
Update: The next Igloo Decorating Contest will start May 23rd! So start saving your coins! To enter the contest, you must open your igloo, and winners get 10,000 coins AND their igloo featured in the CP newspaper. Check the newspaper Thursday for details. I’m thinking one of the themes must be Medieval.
Here’s another sneak peek of the upcoming Medieval Party on the 16th. It’s the Pizza Parlor.
There’s a new feature called “Penguin Mail” coming in the next few weeks along with other features. It’ll be the first of a few big updates to the CP postcard system. You’ll be able to keep postcards you receive to use later, and then send them to buddies even when they’re offline!
Stay tuned to the CPIP Blog for more details.
First off, here’s the end to the story from last week’s newspaper. The Medieval Party will commence tomorrow! (Click the picture to enlarge)
And here are the contest details for the Igloo Contest starting May 23rd. 10 winners will be announced who will win 10,000 coins each.
The judging of stories for the Book Contest is still underway. My story as well is being judged. If anyone wants to read it, it’s hidden on this site somewhere kinda like CP catalog secrets. Winners will be announced the 29th, and the books will be published on the 30th.
The Goblet Pin is in the Coffee Shop. Point your cursor at the light and it will fall down for you to pick up. This pin’s obviously for the upcoming Medieval Party.
The Twelfth Fish play is at The Stage. There is a new playercard background in the Costume Catalog for nonmembers. The Switchbox 3000 is not there because it’ll probably be used for the Medieval Party.
And here’s a sneak peek at the Medieval Party. It looks like the Town.
The newspaper has announced the Medieval Party on the 16th. They said that the Switchbox 3000 from the Stage will be used at the party a new way. And judging from this story in the newspaper, it looks like there might be a big castle at the party:
And good luck everyone in the Book Room Writing Contest. It has now ended. I did, in fact, submit a story.
Here are the events Billybob said will be coming this month:
There will definitely be more than this going on this month.

There are 4 new playercard backgrounds for nonmembers too, but the bottom two are repeats.
Update: Rockhopper has now left. You can still see his ship in the telescope. Billybob has told us one new feature on CP: Improved Playercards. That’s the one reason I didn’t buy any member items when I was a member (it’s so hard to find nonmember items when you have a cluttered inventory). I only bought member clothing on CPIP test servers.
There’s a secret letter hidden in the Clothing Catalog! Go to the last page of the Clothing Catalog, Click and Drag the top area down. Then click to open the secret letter.
When you open it up, this is what it says. I think the party on the 16th will be a Medieval Party.
You can also change to Small Screen when playing now too.
The 2nd Annual Book Room Writing Contest was started today. Below are the contest details, click to enlarge.
The Stage will be bringing back one of its old plays, “The Twelfth Fish”. This time, the play will be performed at the Beach and the Cove.
RH will be departing May 5th. There will be a new wig and clothing catalog tomorrow.
Update: CP has launched Big Screen mode when you play CP. if you want the screen smaller you’ll have to lower the size of your browser window.
Rockhopper’s key is on the last page of Rockhopper’s Journal in the Library in the Book Room (2nd floor of Coffee Shop). You can also wear the Key like a pin!
Once you obtain the key, go onto Rockhopper’s ship and go into the Captain’s Quarters! The room has a Notice Board from RH, a new multiplayer game “Treasure Hunt”, and How to Play on the wall.
To play Treasure Hunt, you basically have to work with your partner by digging vertically or horizontally for treasure. Any shines in the sand mean there’s treasure underneath. All treasure completely exposed at the end will be yours. This reminds me tremendously of the treasure game in Pokemon Diamond and Pearl.
If you’re having trouble finding a game to play, go to an empty server, stand by a match, wait for it to end, and immediately enter it.
There is also a 2nd new room. Click the arrow on the Mast and it’ll bring you up to the Crow’s Nest, which has a powerful cannon.
